Adrenalina Tours published 4 hours from either lake town, while several sellers disagreed with their own booking pages on departure times or journey length. The comparison below keeps those differences visible rather than treating every listing as a separate vehicle.

Every fare in this table was checked 25 October 2026. These are advertised offers, not confirmation of seats on a particular travel date. The seller is named in each row; a per-person basis is stated only where published. Routing is given only when the seller explicitly distinguishes direct service or travel via Antigua.

The Atitrans AM/PM labels above reproduce its inconsistent schedule wording. They do not establish an overnight departure. Likewise, Guatemaya Experience’s additional duration fields do not say which duration belongs to which departure.

Does the shuttle go via Antigua–

Guatemala Transportation’s master schedule explicitly labels 01:00 pm direct and 05:00 am via Antigua from Panajachel. Transportes Turísticos Atitlán labels its 13:00 Hrs. departure direct, and Embarcadero El Tzanjuyú describes its own shuttle as direct. The other offers above do not establish a via-Antigua answer; a hotel drop-off or a through ticket alone does not resolve the route.

San Pedro La Laguna to El Paredon

Guatemala Transportation’s San Pedro pages disagree on both time and fare. Neither page establishes which offer will apply to your booking. A written confirmation needs to identify the departure time, fare and meeting point together.

El Paredon back to Lake Atitlan

Return fares checked 25 October 2026. Where a return seller gives no clock time, the outward departure has not been substituted. None of these return rows explicitly establishes a via-Antigua route.

Guatemala Transportation’s URL headed El Paredon to Panajachel repeats outward-direction material in its body. The return times above come from its master schedule, not from assuming the URL’s title makes every detail a return service.

Private transfers and booking details

Casa Zala publishes private transfers from Panajachel to El Paredon at Q1,290 for 1-3 people, with ~4.5 hrs, and from San Pedro at Q1,290 for 1-3 people, with ~4 hrs; both prices were checked 25 October 2026. These group offers are distinct from Casa Zala’s shuttle listings.

For the reverse direction, Paredón Travel names Paredón Surf Shuttle and lists private El Paredon to Panajachel offers at Q1,320 for 1-3 people and Q1,595 for 4-7 people, checked 25 October 2026. Those private amounts have no per-person label. Marvelus Travel’s own private-transfer label alongside US$32.00 Price P/P, checked 25 October 2026, does not establish a whole-vehicle rate.

Adrenalina Tours requires reservations 48 hours in advance. Its Panajachel overview gives hotel/address pickup, while the booking product names the point in front of Selina Atitlan; the booking confirmation needs to settle the pickup that applies.

Guatemala Transportation’s Panajachel and San Pedro products advertise a 50% down payment, cash balance to the driver and a US$1 PayPal charge, checked 25 October 2026. Service is subject to confirmation with partial or complete payment, and reservation payments are non-refundable.

Simoon Tours adds 5% for card payments. Its shared-shuttle terms state that bookings are non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-changeable within 72 hours of departure; it asks passengers to be ready 15 minutes before departure and says it waits three minutes at pickup before proceeding. These terms were checked 25 October 2026.

Public buses and arrival planning

The operator pages checked 25 October 2026 do not describe a complete public-bus journey from the lake to El Paredon, so there is no sourced bus itinerary or fare here. A missing route description does not establish that public transport is impossible.
