Confirm the Coban departure point
Ask Lanquin Services for the Coban meeting point before paying. Its Rio Dulce card supplies an arrival business name but no Coban street address. Confirm that your reservation is for the Coban-origin product. The seller says all its routes are confirmed directly via WhatsApp and lists +502 3045 1201; the Coban card also mentions a local booking discount at the Lanquin Services office in Viñas Hotel Lanquín.
The published 3 hours belongs to this particular card. The following Coban–Lake Atitlan card gives 6 hours; that figure belongs to a different destination and is not the Rio Dulce journey time.
Why the Adrenalina URL can mislead
Adrenalina’s URL contains shuttle-coban-to-rio-dulce, but the product title on that page is Shuttle Lanquin to Rio Dulce. Its description explicitly rules out departure from Coban and says the shuttle leaves only from Lanquin.
That is a different seller and departure point. It does not invalidate Lanquin Services’ Coban card, and the Coban wording in Adrenalina’s URL is insufficient evidence of a Coban pickup. Use the departure named in the product description when choosing a ticket.
Before booking
Request confirmation of the travel date, pickup location, luggage allowance and any passenger minimum for the Coban service. Lanquin Services’ Lanquin-origin Rio Dulce card shows Min: 4 Pax, 7 hours and 08:00am from the bus station; those conditions belong to that card and should not be carried over to the Coban departure automatically.
