Pickup, vehicle changes and arrival
Adrenalina Tours lists pickup at your hotel or address, changes at Cuatro Caminos and La Mesilla, and drop-off at the central park, locally called El Zocalo. Although its page labels the service door to door, the explicit destination is the park. A booking therefore does not establish hotel delivery at the San Cristobal end.
The operator says it will not wait at the border if your paperwork is incorrect. It also excludes responsibility for blockades, accidents, demonstrations and road works, and says it cannot reimburse you or pay for a hotel in those circumstances. These conditions matter when arranging onward travel after the shuttle.
Luggage: conflicting Adrenalina terms
Adrenalina Tours’ route product, checked 25 October 2026, allows 01 big bag and 1 handbag and states an extra charge of US$30 per bag. Its general shuttle FAQ, also checked 25 October 2026 but carrying an older source stamp, instead allows a suitcase up to 16 kilos and hand luggage up to 7 kilos, with extra pieces charged at half the ticket value.
The pages disagree on the extra-bag charge. Ask Adrenalina Tours to confirm the allowance and charge for this specific route before paying; neither statement resolves the other.
Going only to La Mesilla or via Huehuetenango
Guatemala Transportation separately lists Xela to La Mesilla at 06:00am, US$45 per person, checked 25 October 2026. That is a border-only shuttle product, not the through fare to San Cristobal.

Mexico entry paperwork and the unresolved fee
INM’s land-entry FMM portal requires a valid passport or passport card and a valid visa when nationality requires one. It expressly limits the passport card to land crossings and the border strip, excluding travel into Mexico’s interior and international air travel. A passport card therefore cannot be treated as unrestricted documentation for the onward journey.
For the online FMM, enter your details as they appear in your passport, print the form and present it at the intended international entry point. INM states a maximum of 180 calendar days, usable for a single entry; that maximum is not a promise of the stay an individual traveler receives. Its terms also say payment does not guarantee admission.
