In short: IRTRA’s Xocomil page and Xetulul page list Adultos Q.100 for non-affiliate admission (read 25 October 2026). Xocomil is the water park; Xetulul is the amusement park. Xetulul’s mechanical rides have separate charges. Before taking a child to Xocomil, confirm the height band: IRTRA’s park page and tariff PDF give conflicting information.

Park admission and opening hours

IRTRA lists the following on its park pages (read 25 October 2026). These are non-affiliate admission prices for each park, rather than a combined ticket.

ParkDays/hoursPriceBasis
XocomilThursday through Sunday and holidays, 09:00 to 17:00Adultos Q.100; Niños Q.50; Adulto mayor Q.50Per visitor; park page places adults above 1.40m., children up to 1.40m., seniors at 60 years and over; children below 1.00 m. enter free. Child-height conflict discussed below.
XetululThursday, 10:00 to 17:00; Friday through Sunday and holidays, 10:00 to 18:00Adultos Q.100; Niños Q.50; Adulto mayor Q.50Per visitor; adults above 1.40m., children up to 1.40m., seniors at 60 years and over; children below 1.00 m. enter free. Mechanical rides cost extra.

The height bands above concern admission pricing. For a visitor without an IRTRA card, the relevant published category is non-affiliate. Neither park page supplies a separate foreigner tariff; ask IRTRA to confirm your category rather than adding an assumed nationality surcharge.

If your visit involves a cardholder, see the separate IRTRA card guide.

Last entry and the Xocomil height conflict

Xetulul: IRTRA’s park page lists last entry at 16:00 hrs. on Thursday and 17:00 hrs. on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays (read 25 October 2026). Closing time is later than the admission cutoff.

Xocomil: its park page lists last entry at 16:30 hrs. on its listed opening days. However, IRTRA’s tariff PDF also contains a 16:00 hrs last-entry instruction and a child-height band of 1.20 m, whereas the park page gives 1.40m. The PDF’s layout does not make clear which park each of those lines belongs to.

The PDF states that its tariffs took effect on 1 February 2024. That date is in 2024, even though the file sits in a 2026 folder of IRTRA’s website. Ask IRTRA to confirm Xocomil’s child-height threshold and last-entry time before relying on either version, especially if a child’s height falls between the stated thresholds.

Which park fits your visit?

Choose Xocomil if your purpose is water attractions. IRTRA describes a water park with aquatic games, an interactive youth pool and Río Manso Tumalá (read 25 October 2026).

Choose Xetulul if your purpose is mechanical rides and shows. IRTRA describes mechanical attractions, roaming shows, a magic show, shops and restaurants. This distinction follows the activities each park describes; it is not a ranking of their quality.

For mechanical rides at Xetulul, IRTRA lists these separate options:

Ride optionPublished priceUse
BrazaleteQ.60Personal use; unlimited mechanical rides
PasaporteQ.6012 mechanical rides; shareable

The tariff PDF says the bracelet is valid for the purchase day and the passport remains valid for later visits. Do not treat the passport as unlimited personal access or the bracelet as transferable.

Staying near the parks: Santa Cruz

For an overnight visit, IRTRA’s Santa Cruz page lists double rooms, junior suites and suites. It explicitly prices rooms per room, rather than per person (read 25 October 2026). Check-in is 15:00 horas. and check-out 12:00 horas.

The following are the page’s full-rate figures, reproduced without adding a currency symbol. Confirm the currency and current applicability directly with IRTRA before paying.

IRTRA states that booking Friday and Saturday keeps Friday’s rate for Saturday. It also states an additional 60% discount on Sunday night when Friday and Saturday are booked; that discount does not apply in high season.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I visit Xocomil or Xetulul without an IRTRA card?

IRTRA publishes non-affiliate admission at both parks: Adultos Q.100, Niños Q.50 and Adulto mayor Q.50, read 25 October 2026. Its park pages place adults above 1.40m., children up to 1.40m., and seniors at 60 years and over. Children below 1.00 m. enter free. Xocomil’s child-height rule needs confirmation because IRTRA’s PDF contains a different threshold.

What is the difference between Xocomil and Xetulul?

Xocomil is IRTRA’s water park. Xetulul is its amusement park with mechanical rides and shows. At Xetulul, mechanical-ride bracelets and passports have separate prices from admission.

When are Xocomil and Xetulul open?

IRTRA’s park pages list Xocomil on Thursday through Sunday and holidays, 09:00 to 17:00. Xetulul lists Thursday 10:00 to 17:00, and Friday through Sunday and holidays 10:00 to 18:00, read 25 October 2026. Last entry is earlier than closing.

Does Xetulul admission include unlimited mechanical rides?

IRTRA lists a separate personal unlimited mechanical-ride bracelet at Q.60 and a shareable passport for 12 mechanical rides at Q.60. The tariff PDF says the bracelet is valid on the purchase day and the passport can be used on later visits.

Is there a separate foreigner ticket price?

The IRTRA park pages checked on 25 October 2026 list non-affiliate prices without a separate nationality-specific tariff. These listings show no foreigner surcharge.
