The listing gives a door time but no closing time. One third-party events site, HappeningNext, lists the event as running from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm and names Banrural Guatemala as its host or publisher. That is an aggregator’s listing, not the organizer’s.
What was there
The event description on Tickeri is in Spanish. It calls Chapines Fest the event “que reúne a cientos de personas en la ciudad de Nueva York para vivir la experiencia más espectacular del folklor, tradición y cultura chapina”. For 2026 it promised:
- Music: a show with rock acts, marimba (“marimba pura”) and cultural groups and collectives.
- A food court: food, drinks, crafts and services from Guatemalan brands.
- Help for families: a space where families find support, guidance and access to services (“apoyo, orientación y acceso a servicios esenciales”).
A Guatemalan entertainment site, El Hit Guate, previewed the edition on June 25, 2026. It reported that the festival would include a parade of Maya traditional dress, cultural performances, bands of several genres, and Guatemalan dishes cooked by restaurants that operate outside Guatemala.

The listing shows no ticket price. When we read it on September 25, 2026, after the event, it said “Online tickets not available”. Its description says tickets sell out in presale (“Las entradas se agotan en preventa”), but no amount appears anywhere on the listing, and this page does not guess one.
