Pharmacies in Quetzaltenango (Xela)

This page collects what the sources publish about pharmacies you can use in Quetzaltenango (Xela) and leaves out what we could not verify. The branch listings were re-checked on 16 October 2026 against each chain’s own branch directory (Meykos, Cruz Verde, Galeno, Farmacias Económicas); Farmacias Batres publishes no branch list we could read, so its listing carries no phone or hours. Call before you go to confirm the address and hours.

In short: Farmacias Galeno’s own branch directory (read 16 October 2026) lists two Quetzaltenango branches open 24 hours: 9a Calle 29-20, Zona 7 (7767-0000) and 6a Avenida 4-62, Zona 2 (1702). Galeno shows 1702 on its website and Cruz Verde shows PBX 1728 (read 8 October 2026). The US Embassy’s list for the Guatemala City area gives free home delivery 24 hours a day for Galeno, 7:00-22:00 (Monday to Saturday) for Meykos (2422-2422) and 8:00-20:00 for Cruz Verde, without saying whether they cover Xela. Antibiotics require a prescription (MSPAS Acuerdo Ministerial 181-2019).
