The plan rules, from WashToGo’s own FAQ:
- A plan bag holds about 21 lb (about 40 garments), washed in water and folded only. Ironing and dry cleaning are not included in the plan bags.
- A part-filled bag counts as a full bag.
- Items that need dry cleaning cannot go in the bag: quilts, bedspreads, blankets, curtains, rugs, suits, jackets and blazers, coats and party dresses, among others. Sheets, pillowcases and towels can go in if they are water-washable.
- Extra items are charged on top at each piece’s price; for extra dry cleaning, WashToGo says it asks for your approval of the cost first.
Is a plan cheaper than the bag price? The individual plan’s Q479 buys four bags a month, about Q120 a bag, against Q140 for a single bag bought on its own (our division). Whether it saves you money depends on filling four bags a month, because a part-filled bag still counts as one.

- Is the price per pound washed only, or washed, dried and folded? La Lavandera’s Q5 includes drying and folding; WashToGo prices washing and drying separately.
- Is there a minimum? WashToGo’s per-pound wash has a 10 lb minimum; two of the Antigua laundries in the 2024 post charged a flat price for 1-4 lb.
- Which items go to dry cleaning? Suits, jackets, coats, quilts and curtains are dry-cleaning or bulky items at WashToGo and are priced per piece.
- Pickup and delivery: is it included, and what does it cost? It is included in WashToGo’s monthly plans; La Lavandera and Mr Jeff offer pickup, and their price lists show no separate pickup charge.
- When will it be ready? WashToGo’s plans state delivery in 48 hours; ask other laundries for the ready time.
