Each row is an awarded purchase published on Guatecompras, the state procurement system. The price per m³ is the awarded amount divided by the volume ordered (our calculation, rounded to the quetzal).

The three Defence Ministry lots were direct purchases with electronic offers; the two municipal ones were bought by cotización (a competitive quotation process). The Guatecompras summaries do not say whether delivery distance, pumping or waiting time were included; each tender’s specifications set those terms.
What this means for a private job: use these figures as a published reference, not a quote. Ask the plant to price your volume, strength (PSI), aggregate size, delivery address and whether you need a pump.
Small jobs: bagged premixed concrete
For small jobs, dry premixed concrete is sold in bags that only need water.

EPA describes the product as dry premixed concrete of cement, sand and basalt aggregate, designed for structural and non-structural elements, which only needs water added. Neither store’s page gives how many bags make a cubic metre, so ask the store before you buy for a measured volume.

What to ask the concrete plant
- Price per m³ for my strength and aggregate (for example 3,000 PSI, 3/8 inch), with VAT stated.
- Delivery: does the price per m³ include delivery to my address, and is there a minimum order?
- Pump: does my site need one, and is it in the price?
- Time on site: how long does the quote allow the truck to unload?
- Delivery ticket: will it state the volume and strength delivered?
