How much are braces in Guatemala? What clinics publish is the entry price, not the total. On their own channels: Dental Plus from Q799 (about US$105, a promotion), RoDa Dental from Q1,850 with no down payment (about US$242) plus a Q350 consultation, and GrupoDent a down payment from Q1,899 (about US$249, a promotion). None publishes the monthly fee or the total. If you live abroad, the visit schedule matters as much as the price: RoDa lists monthly adjustments for braces.

Quick summary: Entry price Q799 to Q1,899 (about US$105-249) at three clinics. Dental Plus’s Q799 includes placing upper and lower brackets; GrupoDent’s Q1,899 is a down payment covering evaluation, studies and the plan; RoDa’s Q1,850 starts treatment with no down payment and includes retainers. What the clinics we checked leave out

Among the clinics above and the ones we checked without a price (Ríe Genial, Clínicas La Guardia and GrupoDent’s own website, read 1 October 2026), none publishes:

  • the monthly fee,
  • the total cost of treatment,
  • the number of months in a given plan (RoDa gives a general 18-24 months).

Ask for four numbers in writing: down payment, monthly fee, number of months, and whether retainers are included. Total = down payment + monthly fee × months. That is the only figure you can compare between clinics.

If you don’t live in Guatemala: the visit schedule

Braces are not a one-trip treatment. From RoDa Dental’s pages, read 1 October 2026:

  • Braces: follow-up is listed as monthly adjustments, hygiene monitoring and ligature changes every 4-6 weeks; most treatments complete in 18-24 months.
  • Invisalign: follow-up is listed as changing aligners every 1-2 weeks and check-ups every 6-8 weeks; RoDa says most patients see results in 4-12 months and gives 6-18 months for most treatments.
  • RoDa’s braces page offers metal or ceramic brackets; it publishes one starting price.

Clínicas La Guardia (Panajachel) says treatment with braces or aligners can last 18 months to 2 years, some cases longer, and that consistent visits matter for the result. Before starting, ask the clinic how many in-person visits your plan needs and what happens if you miss one.

Invisalign price

RoDa Dental is the only clinic we checked that publishes an Invisalign figure: treatment from Q1,850 (about US$242) with flexible monthly payments, a Q350 consultation, and final retainers and professional whitening included. It does not publish the total. GrupoDent’s orthodontics page lists metal brackets, esthetic brackets (porcelain or sapphire), children’s orthodontics and maxillary orthopedics, and mentions aligners, all without a price.
