Samsung’s suggested authorised-centre prices put a Galaxy S26 screen at Q1,505.66 and screens start at Q604.80 (Galaxy A01 Core). Independent shops are cheaper: Ring listed an iPhone 13 screen at Q1,950 against iShop’s Q3,299. For laptops, a diagnosis costs Q99.95 to Q175; Global Net Cafe credits it and Informática Integral waives it if you go ahead with the repair.

iPhone repair at iShop (Apple-authorised service)
iShop publishes a price for every model and three types of repair. All prices in quetzales, IVA included, as read on 24 September 2026. Other damage covers damage beyond the screen, including liquid damage.

What iShop’s notes say:
- The screen price applies to accidental damage or misuse, and to a screen that stops working out of warranty. Accidental damage is not covered by Apple’s warranty.
- A battery replacement may be covered by Apple’s warranty. If the screen is cracked, it has to be repaired first, which may cost extra.
- If there is damage beyond the service you chose, there can be an additional cost.
- If the iPhone has to be replaced, it goes back to Apple, and the replacement is new or equivalent to new.
Samsung: the suggested price list for authorised centres
Samsung publishes an out-of-warranty price list for Guatemala only, in quetzales, giving the lowest price charged by its authorised repair centres for each repair. The list excludes shipping the phone to the centre, and it states it applies up to 14 September 2026, which had passed when we read it on 24 September 2026. Treat it as the latest published reference and confirm with the centre (Samsung’s call centre is 1-800-299-0033).

Independent phone shops
Ring, an independent shop, charges less for the same repair and offers home service. It listed an iPhone 13 screen replacement with an original part at Q1,950 on sale (regular price Q2,700), IVA included, done in its shop or at your home, ready in 4 hours, with a free diagnosis. That is Q1,349 less than iShop’s Q3,299 for the same model.
What you give up is the manufacturer channel: ask whether the part is original, and get the warranty on the repair in writing.

Informática Integral says the Q99.95 diagnosis is free if they do the work, but a laptop that has to be fully taken apart costs extra. Parts are charged separately everywhere.

- Back up first. A screen or board repair can end in a replacement unit.
- Ask for the price in writing, including parts, and whether the diagnosis fee is credited.
- Original or compatible part? Ring advertises an original part; ask any shop which it uses.
- What does the warranty cover, and for how long?
- Still under Apple or Samsung warranty? Ask the authorised channel first: iShop says a battery replacement may be covered by Apple’s warranty.
