Inglés para TODOS, INTECAP’s English program, states that each course includes 80 hours of live virtual classes with an instructor, plus asynchronous training you can schedule in your free time, for Q320.00. The time needed for the additional training depends on your level and chosen intensity. You need a computer or laptop with a stable internet connection, headphones with a microphone, a webcam or a mobile device such as a smartphone. - Formación en Línea (online training): formacion.intecap.edu.gt offers self-paced open courses and seminars «sin ningún costo» [at no cost]. The platform is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The same page has a registration form to obtain an INTECAP carné (student identification number).
- Becas para Todos (scholarships for all): the program supports participation in technical training programs and events. It is for Guatemalans with limited financial resources aged 14 to 29. Applicants must have the education required by their chosen program; present a good-health certificate, or undergo an assessment by an INTECAP-authorized medical professional if they lack that certificate; present a birth certificate or Documento Personal de Identificación (DPI), together with a parent’s or guardian’s identification where applicable; and pass the admission exam. Contact the Jefe Técnico Pedagógico (technical and educational head) at your nearest center to apply. The official page, checked on 23 October 2026, does not specify which costs it covers.
- Becas para Retornados (scholarships for returnees): for returning Guatemalans aged 14 and over, regardless of formal education or previous work experience. The program waives training, certification and materials costs. Applicants need identification showing their Código Único de Identificación (CUI), and the Instituto Guatemalteco de Migración (IGM) must validate their returnee status. If you lack the document proving that status, request it at IGM’s central offices at 6av. pista izquierda 3-11 zona 4, or call 2411-2412, the Oficina del Centro de Atención de Migrantes y Retornados. Occupational certification also requires a diagnostic interview with the Jefe Pedagógico (educational head) at the nearest training center. For foreign residents: Becas para Todos explicitly requires Guatemalan nationality. Do not assume this scholarship is open to foreign nationals.

- Open its details. Check the program number, dates, schedule, address and requirements, whether teaching is online, whether online enrollment is available and how many places remain.
- Pay by credit or debit card through the portal, or with a payment slip at a Banrural or Banco Industrial branch or through their online banking. The course details warn that payments are nonrefundable and that you alone are responsible for the courses you assign yourself.
- For 2027 technical programs, consult Admisiones 2027 for information from each center and delegation. Check whether your program requires an admission process as well as enrollment payments; the hotel administration program lists both.
