In short: BAM’s own locator data, read on 8 October 2026, lists four BAM branches and three BAM ATMs whose name or address mentions Antigua. The Antigua Los Encinos branch at 3a Calle Poniente No. 26 opens Monday-Friday 9:00-17:00 and Saturday 9:00-13:00, and the Antigua Los Telares branch (Centro Comercial Telares, km 46 on the road to Ciudad Vieja) opens every day, until 19:00 Monday-Saturday. The tariff addresses of BI, BAC, Banrural and BAM returned no ATM fee schedule and no per-machine withdrawal cap when checked on 2 October 2026, so this page does not quote one. BAC’s tariff PDF (updated 01 July 2026, read 25 October 2026) lists ATM fees for BAC account holders’ debit cards; it is not a fee schedule for cards issued abroad.

When we tried Banco Industrial’s site on 8 October 2026 it returned only an empty page shell with no branch data, so the Banco Industrial row in the directory comes from our directory data file and was not re-checked that day; confirm its address and hours with the bank.
ATM Fees for Foreign Cards
Two parties can charge you for a withdrawal: your card issuer, under its own fee schedule, and the operator of the machine (Wise’s US card-fee page, for example, says ATM operators may charge their own fees). On 2 October 2026 the tariff addresses of BI, BAC, Banrural and BAM returned no fee schedule, and none published a per-machine withdrawal cap. BAC’s tariff PDF (updated 01 July 2026, read 25 October 2026) lists ATM fees for BAC account holders’ debit cards; it is not a fee schedule for cards issued abroad. Ask your own bank before you travel.
Foreign cards and merchant card payments
5B states that its ATM network accepts international cards backed by Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and UnionPay (read 25 October 2026). That is a network acceptance statement; it does not identify a foreign-card surcharge for each bank or guarantee that an individual withdrawal succeeds.
For merchant payments, Porta Hotel Antigua lists Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club cards. Hobbitenango’s payment terms recommend credit or debit card payment for immediate reservation confirmation; bank transfers undergo manual verification taking 3 to 7 business days (read 25 October 2026). These are merchant-specific examples.
BAM’s Cuenta Fácil fees apply to its own account customers, and BAC’s tariff lists withdrawal fees for its own account holders’ local and international debit cards. Those customer tariffs are separate from foreign-issued-card ATM fees.

Currency Exchange
Banks post their own buy and sell rates. On 8 October 2026 BAM’s website showed USD buy Q7.44 / sell Q7.82; the Banguat reference rate for 7 October 2026 was Q7.64254 per dollar. Our exchange rate page is refreshed by a daily data job that reads Banguat’s rate and several banks’ boards.
