In Antigua, El Chucho Feliz advertised its dog hotel from Q90 (the page gives no unit).

Grooming prices, read on 25 September 2026
Both shops publish a price per dog size. PetsMart GT (its page names a Petsmart Metronorte store and head offices in zona 4 de Mixco) says its grooming is done in the shop and can be booked or prepaid online; Pet Republic is on the Carretera a San José Pinula (Pacific Vía Pinula mall) and files the page under Carretera a El Salvador.

What the grooming includes. PetsMart GT lists brushing to remove dead hair, nail cutting and filing, a shampoo of your choice, cleaning of eyes, ears and anal glands, drying, a cut to your instructions, and perfume. Pet Republic’s dog grooming lists a bath, drying, ear cleaning, a styled cut or de-shedding, nail cutting, perfume, tooth brushing only if you bring the dog’s dental kit, and anal-gland cleaning only if you ask for it.
Extras at PetsMart GT: ear cleaning Q50, tooth brushing Q35, nail cut and file Q45, gland cleaning Q40, and a medicated-bath supplement of Q40 (small), Q45 (medium), Q50 (large) or Q55 (extra large). A card of four groomings is listed at Q375 for a small dog, Q435 medium and Q480 large, under the heading of normal price.

- El Chucho Feliz (Antigua Guatemala) says its hotel costs from Q90 (about US$12), without a unit. Its services page gives no rate table.
- Veterinaria Life quoted from Q160 a night for a medium dog of 20 pounds in a Guatemala.com article of 23 March 2023. That figure is more than three years old.
- Pet Hotel Guatemala (Km 32.5 on the road to Antigua): its rate pages on precios.pethotelguatemala.com returned an HTTP 500 error on 24 and 25 September 2026, so we have no current rate for it.
- Guatemala.com’s January 2024 guide to pet hotels names WUF Doggy Daycare, Erick Cruz Hotel & Day Camp, Alfa Can and El Chucho Feliz; for the first two it says the price depends on the dog’s size and the stay or activity, and it gives no figures.

A single day pass is Q35, with check-in at 8 a.m. and check-out at 5 p.m. Pawliday Inn’s page gives conflicting hours: check-in 7 a.m. and check-out 5 p.m. in the daycare rate table, daycare from 8 to 4 in its service description, and opening hours of Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 16:00. Confirm the hours when you book. The medium-dog three-day plan (Q970) is listed below the small-dog one (Q980); those are the figures as published.

Pet Republic: Q138 small, Q158 medium, Q179 large and Q235 extra large, with a note that large and extra-large prices can change with the coat’s condition. That is Q100 to Q235, about US$13 to US$31.
How much is a dog hotel per night in Guatemala?
Pawliday Inn, on the road to San José Pinula, listed boarding, when read on 25 September 2026, at Q150 a night for a small dog (5 to 25 pounds) on a stay of one to five nights, Q165 for a medium dog and Q185 for a large dog, falling to Q125, Q135 and Q145 a night on stays of 19 nights or more. El Chucho Feliz in Antigua advertised its hotel from Q90, without saying per night or per stay. Pet Hotel Guatemala’s rate pages did not load on 24 or 25 September 2026.
Is there doggy daycare in Guatemala and what does it cost?
Pawliday Inn sells monthly daycare plans: one day a week costs Q380 a month for a small or medium dog and Q450 for a large dog; unlimited Monday-to-Saturday daycare costs Q1,700, Q1,800 or Q2,300 a month by size and includes one grooming. A single day pass is Q35. Prices read 25 September 2026.
What do Guatemalan dog hotels ask for before a stay?
Pawliday Inn lists its conditions: the dog must be over 8 months old, have its vaccines, be dewormed and have had a flea treatment before arrival. It does not take females in heat or sick pets, and reserves the right to refuse aggressive dogs. Ask any kennel for its list in writing before you book.
