Two retreat centres on Lake Atitlán publish enough about their retreats to compare: Eagle’s Nest above San Marcos La Laguna, which sells fixed-length all-inclusive yoga retreats with prices on its booking page, and Villa Sumaya near Santa Cruz La Laguna, which hosts retreats run by outside teachers on a published calendar. They work differently, so this page sets out what each one states rather than ranking them. For choosing a town first, see the Lake Atitlán towns guide.

Eagle’s Nest: retreat prices and what they include
Prices from the Eagle’s Nest yoga retreat page, checked October 9, 2026. The page shows prices with a $ sign and says the exact price appears once you pick a start date and room.

| 3 nights | from $522 | $174 |
| 5 nights | from $1,120 | $224 |

The same page also shows a banner reading from $139 per night, per person, without saying which room or retreat length it applies to; it is below every package price divided by its nights. The page advertises a full refund 10 or more days before.

Fit. Eagle’s Nest says most classes are open to all levels; Ashtanga classes, on Mondays and Fridays, assume you know most of the First Series. Most classes hold up to 30 people. Eagle’s Nest describes three nights as two full days on the schedule and eight nights as a full week, covering Friday’s Community Day, Saturday’s sound journey and Sunday’s yin.

The Heart Wisdom: Yoga & the Sacred Mayan Calendar package, for example, lists five 1.5-hour yoga classes, two Mayan fire ceremonies, a 1.5-hour personal Mayan day-sign reading, 7 nights of deluxe single accommodation, daily vegetarian meals and beverage service, and all taxes; transport, staff tips and optional tours are not included.
