In short: On 25 September 2026 EPA sold a corrugated calibre-28 roofing sheet for Q53.50-142 (about US$7-19) depending on length and thickness, an aluzinc calibre-26 sheet for Q235-269, red tile-look sheets of 8-14 ft for Q179-399 and polycarbonate sheets for Q75.95-199. Three other sellers posted sheet prices of Q13.50 per foot (July 2026), Q17.75 per linear foot (a November 2025 promotion) and Q28 per linear foot for a UPVC sheet (July 2025). None of the roofers or shops whose posts we read gave a labour price, so the labour line has to come from a written quote.

Trim is sold separately: a 1.22 m red Spanish-tile ridge cap (cumbrera) was Q63.95 and an 8 ft galvanised calibre-26 ridge (capote) Q45.95. The polycarbonate prices vary by colour: on the 10 ft corrugated sheet, bronze and clear were Q93.95 (down from Q105) and white Q105.

Neither Renova Comex’s nor Metalcentro’s post gives the calibre or thickness in the text we captured, so compare them with EPA’s table only once the seller confirms the sheet.
Labour: get it in writing
We looked for a roofer’s or builder’s own labour price for a sheet-metal roof (per square metre or per sheet) in web and TikTok searches on 25 September 2026 and did not find one. A quote you can compare should list separately:
- The sheets: type, calibre, thickness in mm, length and number.
- The structure: costaneras (steel purlins) or timber, size and spacing. Renova Comex’s post prices one costanera at Q147.
- Fixings and trim: screws, ridge caps (cumbrera or capote), flashing and gutters.
- Removal of the old roof and disposal, if you are replacing one.
- Labour, as a total or per square metre, and who supplies tools and scaffolding.
- A warranty on leaks and a factura (tax invoice).

What does calibre mean on a roofing sheet?
It is the thickness grade. In EPA’s listings the calibre-26 sheets are 0.38 mm and the calibre-28 sheets 0.20 mm or 0.29 mm, so two calibre-28 sheets can differ in thickness. Ask for the thickness in millimetres when you compare quotes.
