Renovoo’s terms charged Q100 extra for pearl paint, excluded matte, added Q200 for the concha or the hood (capó) and excluded salvage or totally damaged panels. A stated regular value is the shop’s own figure in a promotion.
What a panel job includes
Renovoo’s coupon describes the full process for one panel: the panel is removed if needed, cleaned and straightened; filler is applied where needed; it is sanded, masked and primed; then the base colour, the paint and the clear coat go on, and it is sanded, polished and buffed. When comparing quotes, ask each shop whether its price covers all of those steps.
What to ask before you leave the car
- Is the price per panel, and which panels? Renovoo’s old coupon charged more for the concha or hood than for a door, bumper or fender.
- Is the paint applied in a booth (cabina)? Importadora S&R and Talleres AA both advertised booth painting.
- What paint and clear coat, and what guarantee? Legendario Talleres names Sherwin-Williams and gives a written guarantee; Renovoo’s coupon carried six months.
- How long will it take? Importadora S&R advertises under 48 hours for its express panel work; get a date in writing.
- Will I get a factura (tax invoice)? Ask before the work starts.
