How do I report a water outage in Guatemala City?
The Municipalidad de Guatemala’s website lists its 1551 call center and its PBX, 2285 8000. Its EMPAGUA page gives EMPAGUA’s central offices as 6a. avenida 1-27, zona 4, Edificio Mini, and its payment windows as the basement of the Palacio Municipal, 21 calle 6-77, zona 1 (Wayback Machine copy of 6 October 2026, read 10 October 2026; the live page returned HTTP 403). facebook.com/empaguagt is a Facebook page that describes itself as EMPAGUA’s. Earlier versions of this page gave 1502 and 2333-9292 as EMPAGUA numbers; neither appears on the Municipalidad’s EMPAGUA page, so we removed them. The fire service numbers above are from CONRED’s directory of emergency numbers (read 8 October 2026).
