Hotel Cancuen is the reception point for the Los Nacimientos tours of the Candelaria Caves. Its room rates appear on the Los Nacimientos tariff page, which carries no date; as read on 26 October 2026:

The page says the prices include taxes (Precios ya incluye impuestos) but does not say whether they are per night, and the room label does not tell you how many beds a double has. The hotel describes ample parking and security; it does not describe a guarded car park.

A 2024 directory of banking agencies and agents published by Banco Promerica lists, among ATMs on the 5B network (Cajeros 5B), a point at Banrural Raxruha Calle Principal Barrio Concepcion, Raxruha Alta Verapaz (PDF, read 26 October 2026). The document is more than a year old and is not proof the machine works today or takes foreign cards; bring enough quetzales from Cobán as a fallback.
