Hospital de Especialidades de Occidente on 6a Calle in Zona 3 is the top private hospital in the region with full emergency services and modern equipment. Hospital Privado La Democracia is known for its maternity ward and moderate prices.

Public Hospital

The Hospital Regional de Occidente handles the most serious cases from the entire western highlands. It is free but can be extremely crowded, especially during weekends and holidays. For non-critical issues, a private clinic will save hours of waiting.
