Best ATMs for International Cards

Banco Industrial (BI) ATMs have the lowest fees for international withdrawals (Q25/~$3.25 USD per transaction) and reliably accept Visa, MasterCard, and most international debit cards. The 5B network (over 2,000 ATMs nationwide) is the most widespread and works with most international cards. BAC Credomatic ATM Full machines dispense both quetzales and US dollars.

ATM Withdrawal Limits

Most ATMs limit withdrawals to Q2,000 (~$260 USD) per transaction. You can make multiple transactions, but your home bank’s daily limit applies. Banco Industrial allows the highest single-transaction amount.

Mall branches (Oakland Mall, Proceres) have extended hours: Mon-Sat 10 AM - 8 PM, Sun 10 AM - 7 PM. Standard branches: Mon-Fri 9 AM - 5 PM, Sat 9 AM - 1 PM. ATMs are available 24/7.
